Itinerary:

The journey begins on Sunday September 24th in the morning. At 7.45 the motorboat leaves from El Tigre and take us to Nva. Palmira, a picturesque Uruguayan village. You need to take you lunch with you, since it during the tour it is difficult to find a place to eat. During the morning we will visit the boulevard of Nueva Palmira and afterwards we will go to Punta Gorda where we will find an amazing beach with eucalyptus and white sand, what is more we will visit a monument-pyramid which pays homage to Juan Díaz Solis, who was murdered by the Indians. In this place you will be able to find the boundary stone of Río de la Plata and El Rincón de Darwin, paying homage to the scientist who has traveled the world sailing by the “Beagle” taking botanical, geologic, minerals and paleontology samples for his studio in his hometown.  Then we will take the undulating route 21 to the south until we detour to La Capilla de Borbona. This historical building, declared National Monument, belonged to the Jesuits and the Argentinean leader Don Juan de San Martin lived in it, and also some of his brothers were born there. We make a short stop, we have something to eat, and we continue our journey. Next, we ride our bicycles again and we take up again the route 21, very nice ascents and descends to get to Carmelo. We will see the port, the beach, the central square, the casino. Etc.

In Carmelo we will embark to Bs.As,
